think Jaylee is questioning if an object fell in and stopped the fan blades it could simulate a fan seizure and pop the reisitor pack?
Only problems i've encountered with rear fans were usually relay related as geoff already mentions

Re: overheating and coolant leak...help please
cold air is first sign of pressure build up as the matrix is high up and the pressure builds from top down, always something to keep and eye on if you suspect your cooling system.

Re: Fuel tank sender unit
you dont have to do either, just ground the tank, usually run self tapper through the lip of the tank and connect it to the chasis, theres a nice 10mm nut that holds hoses in place just behind offside pillar.

Re: metal coolant pipes
If your any good at old school (not push-fit) plumbing its not a big job to chop out the corroded section and make up a replacement or as helen says just use rubber hose.

Both occasions were when the Bongo was being driven fast on the motorway. Bongo is a 2000 diesel 4ed. Wondering if.found...

Re: Transmision (TAT) Diagnositc code 38
if you have your internal fuse box connected to your leisure battery then the central locking maybe connected to it and if the leisure battery is flat may explain it doesnt work and again a flat/disconnected leisure battery can cause the glow plug light to flash until its charged

Re: No power to head unit
as simon says, the standard iso connector doesnt have a ground connection, its separate, (thick black, red trace, female blade connector) tho with your aerial in place that should ground the unit and make it work?
