New battery

Looks as though a new starter battery is imminent. Any recommendations? - looking for cheap and reliable.

Thanks

Re: Leisure Batery - unconverted Bongo

Hi,

If you run the wire through the back door (tailgate), the door will shut without damaging either the door or the wire.

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's just the three cities mentioned or if there are any others?

Thanks

Re: How warm is it to sleep in a Bongo?

Hot water bottles are good! We take 2 duvets as well (just in case). If on hook-up we have an oil filled radiator, but often find it gets too warm. If you have a long run before camping the engine (being under you) keeps warm for a long time. Also - if you sleep downstairs in the winter and close th...

Re: Who's planning what?

My insurance covers me for Europe as well - I have to call them and let them know the dates I'm there in advance though.

European breakdown is a must - I get mine with my insurance - camping and Caravanning club (covers both UK and Europe).

Where in the West of France and when are you going?

Re: Who's planning what?

Lovely looking site Bob! We've only really got one trip planned - France for nearly a month (July and August).....can't wait, but it's not soon enough. Can't make it to Southern Softies or Bongo Bash this year so will have to work in some more weekends along the way (we live in Cornwall, so it shoul...

Who's planning what?

As the title suggests - I was wondering who's got what trips already planned for this year.

Re: conversion plans

HI, We have our middle row reversed and have lap belts added - I drive my children (both of adult sizes admittedly) and their friends about, so wanted an element of safety. Also my insurance would only insure 'seat-belted seats' - they were happy enough with lap belts, but I had to have something. F...

Re: Who's going to Southern Softies 2017

Sadly it's just a little too far away for us. We're going to miss Stourport as well - the year won't be the same! It's been a hard decision, but does mean that I get a whole month in France in July and August - so I suppose I'll survive.x
