Sourcing laminate tops, sides and doors
I am planning on a DIY removable kitchen for the rear. Where can I find a good choice of laminated board? I would like it to be 12 -15mm thick, available in a good choice of matt/textured colours and with square and/or rolled edges. Kitchen worktops are too thick and, anyway, I would like the sides ...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
I personally am not keen on using scotch locks. In the end no scotchloks - I ran a "power lead" from the back of the instrument panel and connected it to the leads on the LCA unit. That way the instrument panel can still be removed without uncrewing my connections on its back. I had the r...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
Fitted Haydens alarms to both of my Bongos without any problems locating switched lives as sure that Hayden had given addition wiring instructions detailing wiring locations for bongos. Plus a scotch lock to use to conect to the switched live behind fuse box. Brilliant. Thanks. Located live feeds u...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
I think I used the same fuse illustrated or one on the same row (mine was the one for the rear wash wipe IIRR) but I used a piggy back (they are called something else really but I can't remember what) fuseholder so the alarm has its own fuse. Not particularly necessay but neat quick and easy. I got...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
Scotchlok were connectors often supplied with towbar electrics. They are a plastic casing with two tunnels. across each tunnel is a forked blade. Place one tunnel over the existing wire and the new wire end into the other tunnels and then press the blade down. It cuts through the insulation on each ...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
Doing exact same job. What is best way to "tap into" the feed. I have had a go at trying to remove the wire from the fuse box with a view to crimping original and LCA to the same spade connector and returning it but could not remove the wire and became nervous about damaging it. I could us...

Re: Bongo front window and tailgate strut problems
Encouraging replies! Thanks for the help. It seems few things are insurmountable once you Bongo it. Just nervous of ending up with massive bills or irrepairable items.

Bongo front window and tailgate strut problems
Looking to buy my first Bongo and therefore hunting at the cheap end of the market. Looked at a prospective Bongo and went through lots of checks from this forum which revealed: Front passenger window struggled to go up and down when operated from its own switch Driver's side window switches did not...
