Re: Cleaned the inside of the Van

If you mean the window near the sliding door, it doesn't open because the door would break it. Dunno if you know this one or not but you can wash the sunroof glass by standing on the hoop that locks the door in on the door pillar (sliding door). I am a big lad and didn't bend it so i give it a SWL ...

Cleaned the inside of the Van

When i cleaned the inside of the Van i found that the left rear window dosen't open. It has hinges on the front like the others but a different thing on the rear which don't open. Is this the norm? if so why? I also found that having the ignition off, which does not allow you to use the stuff that y...

Re: Tyre Pressures

I often wondered if painting a stripe across a tyre with some left over emulsion and letting it dry, take for a quick spin and see what has worn off, would work???????
Any takers/

Re: Tyre Pressures

Can anyone please suggest tyre pressures for the 225/50 R17 fronts, and 245/45 R17 rears on my new alloys. Have set them all at 32psi as a starting point but would be interested to hear what others use. I have similar rims to yours and was advised to run 32 if unloaded and 34 if loaded and the seem...

Re: Rear Cab Interior Light

Hi all Thanks for your posts. I have been away for the weekend. Very enjoyable but cold and damp!! I did play around with the switches and with the constant use over the weekend the light started to work this morning. I guess it was maybe a bit sticky from not being used over the winter. Thanks for...

Re: c.v. joints

If no-one pipes up, i had a mini once and when i asked an expert he said "Just do it up FT". You can imagine the response when i asked what FT was.

Roof not locking out

Before i bought my bongo from my brother he admitted doing something to the roof. He said that he tried closing it with sleeping bags in there and ever since the roof has never got up to the fullest extent. That is it goes up high, stops at the top and the beeping still carries on. I recently discov...

Re: Question on Cruise control

I think most of us have the m50 which was £50.00 quid on e bay, I am still waiting to get mine installed, hopefully not to long to wait, there is a very good fact sheet on fitting it too. Happy motoring. I really feel that i need cruise control on my bongo as i always get a sore right calf muscle o...

Re: CLUNK

Have a quick look to see if there is a frozen chicken in the boot area, i had this phenomenon recently, following a shopping trip with over loaded bags,as a tip for the future, let the missus load the bags,as they seem to like to collect as many carrier bags as humanly possible... More bags =...
