Re: Eastnor - Friday 18 - Sunday 20 September anyone
I will try and make this one. It may clash with a visit from daughter though.

Re: Has the world gone mad?
Wish you luck with the refund. Stayed at Holmsley site with one of the local Bongo groups. Camping in the Forest messed up the booking, putting two other vans in the field, leaving us short on two hook ups. Autumn and cold nights so needed. Not much help in sorting it out. You could try to blag it w...

Re: Has the world gone mad?
Setthorns reminded me of a an off road 4x4 course without the amenities and the burger van. None of the cheerful loons driving Land Rovers into lakes. Its rough tracks with bays for vans and tents. A lot of caravans are parked there permanently. All hooked up to power of course. Nowhere is at its be...

Re: Has the world gone mad?
Setthorns is a very pretentious site. Used it once and never again. It has strange ecological ideas, like no signs and no loos, but is full of caravans and has electric hook ups at most pitches. The own loo rule is enforced by vehicle searches, but a loaded bongo could get through as there is not ti...

ACS Classic Cars Hythe near Southampton converted mine. Did an extremely good job. They deal with a lot of Bongos.

Re: Wood burning stove and USB charger
Try a Lidl Solar phone charger. £11.99. Plus a cheap space heater from Towsure to go on a gas stove burner. Be aware of ventilation issues and do not leave on in the Bongo or a sealed tent. Far more effective for a fracton of the price.

Washing windscreen while making strange hand signals? Or is that a degree of the Masons?

Re: Clicking Willinton Relay
Thanks Simon Hopefully this is a bad case of finger trouble. After I had posted I went to get the shopping out of the Bongo and heard the unmistakable hum of the fridge. It was switched on and obviously had been since I came back from the Bash on Monday. It was a slow hot run with the usual road clo...

Clicking Willinton Relay
Hi all. Expert advice needed. I have a Willinton split charge relay which is making a steady clicking sound, bit like the indicator tick but slower and louder. There is also a green light flashing behind the relay. I have a long journey coming up with little time to find an auto electrician. Is ther...

Sickening thing about this, is that he had a negative feedback on this account which has now been removed. He turned his feedback private to avoid it been read. How he managed this when most bad feedback however petty is unremovable.

changing to motor caravan for insurance purposes
My tin top has a 321 Away rear conversion. This was bought second hand but professionally fitted. It has been insured with the Camping and Caravan Club who accept it as converted and insure it as a camper van, although it is still registered as a mpv. I have been phoned up by a previous broker offer...

Re: overheating 2L petrol - any new ideas?
Every sympathy. Its a lovely looking Bongo. Something very wrong here and longstanding from the state of the thermostat. With nothing leaking and water flow fine most of the obvious causes of overheating have been dealt with. You obviously have been very unlucky and got one probably bodged in Japan....

Re: overheating 2L petrol - any new ideas?
Is this the 2ltr that has been at Discount Trucks this week? There are a series of photos on Mazda Bongo Owners of what sounds like the identical problem being dealt with on a 2ltr. If it is not I suggest you give them a ring. Fred - Paul Horsfall at Discount Trucks has dealt with a lot of petrol Bo...

Re: Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller - several aliases?
Next act - The phone in MOT. Just transfer your money and get the certificate by email. Took mine into 321 Away yesterday for some tweeks. The girl waiting for hers to be serviced had been scammed by him. The Bongo delivered was not the same as the one she bought. That apparently had problems and wa...

Re: Dodgy Bristol Bongo seller - several aliases?
If you really want a laugh go to qure_uk2014 and go to feedback left for others. There he hands out a real tongue lashing to some one he bought a Bongo off that did not meet his usual high standards.
