ACS Classic Cars Hythe near Southampton converted mine. Did an extremely good job. They deal with a lot of Bongos.

Try a Lidl Solar phone charger. £11.99. Plus a cheap space heater from Towsure to go on a gas stove burner. Be aware of ventilation issues and do not leave on in the Bongo or a sealed tent. Far more effective for a fracton of the price.

With nothing leaking and water flow fine most of the obvious causes of overheating have been dealt with. You obviously have been very unlucky and got one probably bodged in Japan....
