Re: Vallient Ecotech 24 combi boiler how to top up water lev

Typical Helen, after seeing the Latvians opposite installing a satellite dish by standing on a wheelie bin with the wheels wedged so it did not set off down the hill. This is a replacement boiler, using the pipework connections from an old Worcester, so it looks things were moved to fit the installa...

Re: Heat Warning Light On V6 after driving through water

Update. Took this to Discount Trucks on Thursday. Catalyst seems OK, its a sensor problem. Paul Horsfall found a fault code and cleared it. The beast then started running well and stopped guzzling. The catalyst light light was still on, until he disconnected the second sensor actually on the catalys...

Vallient Ecotech 24 combi boiler how to top up water level

Know this is not Bongo related, but wonder if any techies can offer some advice. I have a Vallient Ecotec 24 pro combi boiler which is not working due to low water pressure. Usually there is a tap underneath to add water to increase the pressure beneath the boiler but there is no sign of them on min...

Re: Heat Warning Light On V6 after driving through water

Thanks both of you. Sounds like an expensive new year present. Not even a full flood just a blocked drain that was deeper than it looked with oncoming traffic preventing avoiding it. Interesting that not all have a warning light.

Heat Warning Light On V6 after driving through water

The heat warning light is staying on my V6 Bongo with LPG. I drove through some water, overflowing drain and the red heat light came on and has stayed on. Its been through far worse and deeper water in the past without a falter. All is running well, changing to LPG perfectly but the light is staying...

Re: Front Heater Hassle

Did he replace the matrix? There are faulty ones around. I had mine replaced at Discount Trucks after a split and there was no heat from the heater afterwards. Found out driving to Gatwick at goddam awful cold hour and assumed head was about to go from airlock. Returned Bongo and the new matrix fitt...

Transfering Data from Windows 7 PC to Windows 10 on new PC

Not really Bongo related but this Forum is always a good source of knowledge. M old PC with Windows 7 has bitten the dust, overheating among other problems. I blithely bought another one with windows 10 and I am struggling. Made a mess of setting it up and finally got the emails set up with help. I ...

Great news that this one has had a Happy solution and is still back on the road again. It was a long saga and a very interesting and strange one.

Definitely not available for this one. So that's one less for the list. Will see your new wheels at the Golden Swan or before.

Re: Is BP dropping the supply of Autogas?

The hydrogen article is far too technical for me. How about nuclear fusion next. Whatever you choose it looks like luck of the draw. Never seen one electric car charging point in use. Next perhaps back to my granddad's Rayburn to heat the whole farmhouse and a Series Land Rover ran on Red Diesel plu...

Re: Is BP dropping the supply of Autogas?

Clear as mud. The LPG kit takes up quite a bit of space with above ground tanks. It could be safety rules as well. Everything has probably to be expensively replaced every few years. My local Shell Garage has just replaced its LPG pump, so hopefully I am safe for a bit. would like to find out if the...

Is BP dropping the supply of Autogas?

With a LPG converted V6, I use a couple of BP Autogas filing stations a lot. Family Farm on the A34 just before the M40 and Warwick Services on the M40 going towards Birmingham. This weekend I found Family Farm had removed the pump and when going on to Warwick to fill up, both pumps were out of use ...

Superb. A lot of those ideas would transfer to a variety of situations. It would make a brilliant wheelchair conversion as well. =D> =D> =D>

Re: Lowering?

Don't know if this muddies the water or helps. My tin top is 28.5 inch 73 cm from ground to top of wheel arch. This is running on 17in wheels, as imported. I calculate a lower of 10 to 15 cm. It does not have blue lowering springs, but is definitely lowered. It shows up as lower in a line of Bongos,...
