Re: Hold Button? What's it for?

Its pretty much as it says on the tin. Think of it as a manual override to use the gearbox as a semi automatic when needs be. It will keep the gearbox in 1st, 2nd or 3rd depending on where you select the gear lever. Useful for hilly roads or to aid braking if on a fuel economy run.

Re: April Meet Red Squirrel Campsite

I have never seen the beauty of 'The Real' Scotland. Winter is out of the question as I only have a 2wd and I'm a scardy cat. This place is a brilliant introduction as to just how good Scotland looks, trust me - its breathtaking round there. We'll make an anti midge suit for you, just get yer...

It will be fine if it is in April but worst case scenario, I'll get Liz to make a boilersuit for you & we can find a bee keepers hat on ebay between now & then.

You'll be a conversation piece at least.

Thats also where the front heater matrix is, have you had a look around there yet?

Re: Coolant leel dropping

Chances are there a a few jubilee clips that just need a quarter twst up every few months.

have a good rummage around with a screwdriver & give a tweak to all you find.

Re: roof wont lift

If engine is running, gears set to P or N & handbrake is on (& red Handbrake lamp is lit on dash), the roof should go up on the button. The Unlock switch is only there for bringing it down again. Many new folks have had initial trouble getting to grips with the roof but 99% of the time this ...
