Wire them into the sidelight circuit, I supergued mine on as the 3M tape gave up pretty quick . . .

Its pretty much as it says on the tin. Think of it as a manual override to use the gearbox as a semi automatic when needs be. It will keep the gearbox in 1st, 2nd or 3rd depending on where you select the gear lever. Useful for hilly roads or to aid braking if on a fuel economy run.

Chances are there a a few jubilee clips that just need a quarter twst up every few months.

If engine is running, gears set to P or N & handbrake is on (& red Handbrake lamp is lit on dash), the roof should go up on the button. The Unlock switch is only there for bringing it down again. Many new folks have had initial trouble getting to grips with the roof but 99% of the time this ...
