Re: Passenger rear side window

This is very easy.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck, common sense will show you how to do it.

Re: reverse gear

Did the selector move to the R position, then Bongy not move, or would the selector not engage?

Edit: Have you checked the gearbox oil level?

Re: Seats/bed question

You don't need to remove the runners just because you take the seat out, just leave in place.

It will not be easy to fit a single seat behind the driver's to make a bed, but I' sure you could make something.

Re: Seats/bed question

Hi Linda, and a warm welcome. There's no problem removing the middle seat, just 4 bolts, but it is VERY heavy. I'd get some help lifting it. Before doing this, however, why not try sleeping on the driver's and middle seat (remove the headrest and slide to fit) then tilt the N/S part of the middle on...

At least you're sorted.

Many people miss-fuel so it could have been worse.

Re: Mechanics have run out of ideas on how to fix cooling sy

Can't hurt.

Have the garage done a 'Sniffer Test' to check for combustion gasses in the coolant?

Re: Courtesy Lights

It must be possible, I just don't know where the wires run.

It would be very easy to fit an extra light in the back 'Piggy Backed' off the front light.

Re: Tour de France

Hi I wouldn't rely on the LB to run a fridge for long, but as you will be travelling every day I wouldn't worry too much. Same with hook up, if you plan to Wild Camp it won't help. Re tools I like a trolley jack and Breaker Bar, both fairly cheap. There was a thread on here recently asking for advic...

Re: motorhome or tent booking?

Ah, yes, we've been here a few times.

Book as a car and tent, keep a copy of the V5 with you to prove Bongy is a car, and then argue.

One of the joys of Bongoness is it will be whatever you wish on the day, no tents - its a camper, no campers - its a car...
