Re: Wont start
if you've drained the pump and lines reckon its gonna start with a 10 second turn of the key it would be the first time i've ever heard of it, try winding it over for more like 30 seconds continuously and as ade suggested early on, crack a few lines open.

Re: Engine Code/headbolts
pretty positive head bolts are one shot as they stretch when torqued down Not strictly true. They ARE stretch bolts and according to the manual they can be used again providing the actual measured 'stretched' length is within a specified tolerance. (let me know if you need the spec) The bolt is str...

Re: Vibration.
after reading initial post, was going to mention the rear prop, its not common but i've seen a fair few of them and they do exactly like you said, it starts by being noisy then becomes a vibration, but never driven 1 to destruction lol if you pull the shaft off you can feel a 'notch' in the faulty b...

Re: Turbo Timer Question.
Technically a turbo timer makes your insurance void, the conflict between antimer and an immobiliser is the immobiliser waits typically 45 seconds from the ignition switching off before arming, the timer keeps the ignition on, you can get timers that interface with the handbrake (as most do) and the...

Re: Remote locking
chances are you dont have the control unit configured as jaylee has stated, you need it set to 2 wire control, so you should have had to connect 2 extra wires to ground and 1 or 2 (depending on quality of unit) to a positive, to drive the actuator, if not you'll get a weak movement when you attempt ...

Re: Bongo is humiliating us
sounds like car worked on recently and that was gasket failure? does the smoke stop after warm up? have you had your air intake/filter checked? as a blockage of the air intake causes lots of smoke from the exhaust? try starting the car with top of the airbox open.
