Re: Front fog lights
Hi folks. Does anyone know what sort of bulb is required for these front fog lights? I was thinking of replacing the existing ones with something brighter. There is a helpful list of Bongo bulbs at at http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=50219 but the front fog lights are...

Re: STIFF SLIDING DOOR
One thing to watch with any form of grease is the tendency to accumulate dust & grit which can add to noise & wear. This is especially true on the lower track below the side step which gets covered in a lot of sand etc when climbing in & out of the van. The trick is to clean off all the...

Re: STIFF SLIDING DOOR
White litium grease or silicone grease will sort that. Never use WD40 on hinges, rollers etc because it is way too thin and the problem will soon come back (as you have discovered).

Re: remote key battery question
Some remotes need the batterys changed within a given timeframe or they will then need re-syncing to the vehicle. for eg. the old rover remotes needed both buttons to be pressed for a min of 5 seconds to discharge the remote before putting in the new battery or they could lose there pairing and nee...

The guy was talking out of his bottom. You can change the battery in any car key fob without it affecting anything else.

Re: Paint colour mis-match
Very good, maybe revjhdavis should quote this fact to his paint supplier, they offer a colour match guarantee or money back. They might have used the wrong database. If they had done that both would be the wrong colour. As it is, the brush on is the right colour, it is only the spray can that is wr...

Re: Erisin double din pad, DVD, phone ,bluetooth, reversing
Best have it fitted professionally as i did Halford will fit it for £30. Now there are two words that I never thought I'd see in the same sentence, although I suppose they are professional in the sense that they get paid for it. I wouldn't trust Halfrauds to fit a light bulb, let alone an audio hea...

Re: Vibration
Does it have aftermarket alloy wheels and if so are spigot rings required / fitted. Take a wheel off and see if it fits snugly on the spigot on the hub or if it flops around and is only located by the wheel bolts. If so you will need to get spigot rings off ebay.

Re: Lowered
Each to their own I guess but I really don't see the point of lowering a Bongo. Some people say it improves the handling but it's a bliddy great 2 ton van with the aerodynamics of a brick so presumably it improves the handling from shite to not quite so shite? When I bought the Bongo I never expecte...
