Sad news. We didn't know him well but chatted to them at Looe over several years.
RIP Ben, and our every sympathy to Pat and Terry.

Ideas Please - Decals for Silver/Grey Bongo
I am having my Bongo resprayed, on account of the extensive rust repair job which it is currently undergoing. My existing decals cannot be replicated by anyone, and an original set from Mazda will cost me just shy of £800. I am one of the small number of people in this world who cannot picture anyth...

Re: Inverters
I know you want to use your oven, now that you've bought it, but there are also stove top alternatives which would negate the use of a hookup. Firstly a pressure cooker - noisy and fills your Bongo with steam but can do a casserole in less than 10 minutes, or an Omnia stove http://www.omniasweden.co...

Re: Heat insulation for the Bongo
Thanks for the replies. Mike, I admit I have been unusually quiet of late. I foolishly agreed to become an Assistant Cub Scout Leader a couple of years ago and am enjoy my official second childhood so much that I am allowing it to take up more time than it needs to! Agree with what you say about the...

Heat insulation for the Bongo
I've had a look, but can't seem to find what I am looking for (probably should be looking harder). Poor Seymour needs surgery for tinworm, a job we have been putting off due to lack of funds, so obviously it's now quite serious. We thought that once all the interior panels are off, it would be a goo...

Success - managed to get through and book two nights. Just on tenterhooks now to see if we have actually managed to get one of the 15 pitches which have been put aside [-o< We can't take the boy out of school and as this is the only Bongo meet local enough to enable us to attend we are pacing the ho...

Re: Team Muz on tour in Iberia
I've been on a Hovercraft several times both Dover to Boulogne and somewhere or other to the Isle of Wight (little hovercrafts). The big ones were, as has already been said, noisy, bumpy and with no visibility. I'm sorry that they're no longer with us, but not sorry that I am not going to go on anot...

LOST PROPERTY AT LOOE
I have just remembered (brain like a sieve) to pass on the following. As we were leaving, Lene stopped me and asked if I had heard whether anyone had lost a pair of child's spectacles (the prescription kind) or child's sunglasses. So, if your child has lost their glasses or their sunglasses, and you...

Re: Bongo Fest South West 2014
Indeed it was an excellent weekend. It was lovely to meet so many new Bongo owners, as well as familiar faces (note, not old Bongo owners).
Thank you very much, Ian. Hope you and Marianne enjoyed it too.

Re: Team Muz on tour in Iberia
Stunning photos of stunning locations, food, wine etc and lots of information to go with them. You really need to be earning back the cost of your holidays (or at the very least the cost of Muzette's ice creams) by compiling a book. Inspired to follow in your footsteps on this one - we've been to a ...

Re: unconverted camping stuff
Good quality copy of a Trangia http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Asaklitt-Spirit-Stove/34-3320 The scoundrels, fancy copying the Holy Grail of camp cooking equipment (in my opinion)!!!! Good find, though, Winchman, and LOOK at that price!! About the same as one of those little gas cooker jobbies and pro...
