Its to do with the year of the vehicle, they changed in 2000, from the 2 connector type, to the single type,so aero's all have 1 connector Julian Mine is a 96 model,haven't changed radio yet as awaiting delivery just wanted to get correct connector prior to delivery, which one do I need. Lots of Bongo owners with 4WD run 215/65's the main thing is to have load ratings of not less than 93 on the front axel and 96 on the rear axel. That part was £8 in Halfords about a year ago when I got mine. It literally plugs in to the existing loom. It has two earths so you need to find a point behind the radio to connect to. Unable to locate the thread on advice for replacing the japanese radio on my soon to be supplied bongo. i run van tyres on my tin top. running at 50 psi all round (4 by 4). it really good on fuel ,well as good as a bongo can be. good ride too.
