Re: A bit controversial?

I had a mazdaspeed grill on the front of my bongo, which in my opinion gave it a better look altogether.

Re: Space Saver Wheel

If you have a towbar fitted you can purchase a bak-rak spare wheel carrier. Regarding your spare pick up a 15" steel wheel and purchase a tyre with a similar rolling radius to your 17"" alloys 215/70/15 or225/70/15 wont be too far away depending on what you have fitted to the 17"...

Re: JAL imports conversion

I paid Phil for the under seal job several years back, he may have changed his methods by now but my under sealing job only covered the areas most likely to rust on a bongo, I ended up getting a full wax oil once I got it home to Scotland. The extra wide bed does compromise the storage area quite a ...

Re: Seat belt extender

"Teather strap 2 point anchor seat belt extender" from eBay, no need to find what seat belt type is required as you just remove the belt from the anchor point bolt it to the extender and bolt the extender to the anchor point.

Re: Shortly to become a bonggone

Similar in size to the bongo but without the centre consol so feels much more spacious and easier to fit the rotating seats.

Re: Bongo friendly garage required

Yep Chris Allen, the only thing he ever got me were a set of iridium lpg1 spark plugs, hoses, brake disks, brake pads, seal kits, drop links etc all parts came from the bongo shop at Chris's request and fitted by them, I don't have my bongo now but still use them for mot's on my other vehicles, the ...

Re: Bongo friendly garage required

I know what your are saying for warranty reasons, however the bongo garage I used in east Linton would tell me to get all my parts from bongo fury as I was a member and could get them cheaper from Ian than they could, also they did not trust their own suppliers to supply genuine Mazda parts or very ...

Ian it Might be worth sending one to the "Linton Service station", in :-

East Linton,
East Lothian
Scotland.

They have at least several bongos on their books for annual mot's, repairs and servicing.

Re: 2017 Venues: Nominations Required

A couple of suggestions from Team Muz. For Wales, try Penrhyn Bay Caravan Park on Anglesey, it's a bit exposed (but so is Barmouth) but it's a cracking site. For Scotland, in 2010 you held the meet at Brighouse Bay Holiday Park which was a lovely site in an unusual part of Scotlan...

All the best with your new van, although King Billy Regis does not have the same ring to it.
