Re: Roofrack

Saw an interesting take on that problem the other day, a Towbar hitch that could be telescoped outwards sufficiently far to allow opening the door, not used for when driving of course, but adequate for static use to allow the door to open. Not sure if it was a DIY job or a standard bit but I plan to...

Re: Passenger door card removal

The two w...

Re: Roofrack

Have to agree with that, its much easier to get at and you can take it off when not needed; http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/DSCF6289.thn.JPG Someone also had one mounted on a bike rack (less the bikes of course) the was a picture in the last few days, that avoids the need for a towbar of course as...

Its mainly the struts on ours, I just carry some some silicon spray in the vehicle and squirt when it dries out either side.

Re: Air conditioning

You need to turn it on from the Front controls and then the rear controls will adjust the settings for the rear vents.

Horn is mounted down behind the grill there is a single fuse and a relay involved, several people have reported faulty relays in the past also the connectors down the steering column have been known to come apart; Circuit; 1997 Page_76 Locations; 1997 Page_77 Fuse involved; http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/...

Re: My electrics have stopped working in camper section

In that case read this message http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 15#p475515
you have to have the 6th Switch, far right switch, operated before the reset will work.

Re: squeeky bed

On our R&R (not Elite) it was a combination of the Pins that engaged in the runners and the springs that held the Pins in the locked position, some heat shrink tubing on the pins stopped the metal on metal noises and some Gaffer Tape around the springs stopped them rattling whilst still letting ...

That fuse feeds several engine related solenoids including the fuel cut-off see here:

the fuel cut-off is on the link 22 so the are several possibilities that could be causing the problem :-(

Re: Switched LIVE feed.

During cranking the voltage is likely to drop badly and also to have the highest back emf's floating around after it switches out this is the IG1 circuit, the IG2 & ACC is switched OFF during cranking and is probably the preferred circuit, but the alarm will self test twice however .... 1997 Pag...
