Agree with Ozric on all counts. the trick with the hole cutting business is measure once, measure twice, mark out with masking tape, all of this 60 times if need be but just take your time. The plastic cuts beautifully though (just drill a little hole in each corner of the cutout area at start of jo...

'fraid so. I still think a very intersting approach would be a lamp that shines into the reversing mirror (or at least downwards from it), which then spreads a pool of light over the area of most importance when reversing. But then my name IS 8) Heath Robinson.

Clive and Sarah wrote PS...also like the rather 'retro' look....bit like the Bongo really. I thought that too. Weird, cos we are talking 1995 retro and its only 12yrs ago. But it looks like it would 'fit' a Bongo doesnt it. Might be just what depresses its appeal (and price) in the rest of the marke...

Woops - sounds like I'm in the wrong fusebox (and there's me servicing my own Bongo when Ian gets his done)

AndAndDen - Same thing. Guess where I picked up witty little terms like Halfrauds and Evilbay from? I think you've guessed already. Got me into bad habits BF has. 8)

Mind you, on a serious note, it doesnt have to be. Some of the best glider pilots I met were ladies - and thats not a sport for wimps (check out Hannah Reich or Anne Welch on t'internet for some interesting history). When you love doing something, it doesnt matter what sex the people you do it with ...

I thought you could get these fuses anywhere (e.g. Halfrauds) and the colour coding is an industry standard. Match the colour = match the rating.

Anyone else better qualified able to comment?

Mike

PS - I bought a box of assorted spares off evilbay for something silly like £2.99 including postage

Wow clogger - you've come up trumps there!!! Under £50, all the features of the other offerings INCLUDING remote control. They are out of stock at present but seem to be sure they will have more.

Anyone going to try one of these? I'm tempted, but budget currently v. low :(

Malc - Like you, I'm beginning to think I'm leaving the key 'on' for too long before starting her. I do it in the (mistaken?) belief it gives the glow plugs more time to warm but she seems to start v well if I leave it just a few secs after the light has gone out. She was 100% fine this morning with...

Mango was grumpy again this morning - a couple of secs rough running before settling down. I resisted pressing the loud pedal (which is my natural, but wrong, reaction). Love her to bits 8)
