Might try and pop in for this Sarah .well done for trying to get a meet going in the Scottish sector

Carnac area is a great area visited it for twenty odd years ,there's a big site there called the grand meterie ,which is vast but not our scene.

Sounds like the steering column knuckle starting to seize up.look under the dash where the steering column goes and you will see a universal joint,lay paper towel or rag around the area and spray with wd40 then spray grease work the steering to and fro ,try this and test

You can buy a kit from part of,think mo prod and it includes the broach and staking kit that keep the caps in.used them on older fords

I'm trained Peugeot tech,many many times turbo failure jobs brought in ,norm was to wash out inter cooler and trunking with petrol flush out and leave to dry never had any probs,
Inho I personnally would not renew cooler

Sounds like an alternator idler pulley,remove alt belt and see if it stops,also known for crank pulley failure,damper goes and creates noises .

If it's got or had a tow bar it might be the flasher buzzer for the trailer your hearing and might be only one side wired or working

Just an update this weekend there's twenty odd campers meeting at loch fyne at the otter ferry anyone wishing to attend feel free ,frida,sat ,sun stay longer if you want to.got the pub to use
