Thans Geoff. What I really want to know is were is the filter is actualy fitted to the van, ie front o/s n/s etc ?. Do I have to jack the van up?. John

Hi, All, In the workshop manual there is a picture of a petrol filter but it does not say were it is positiond on the van. So can any of you Bongo nuts could tell me were it is located and to wether the van as to be raised to change it. Thanks in advance John.

V6 still cutting out
Hi to all, I have posted before about my Bongo that keeps cutting out. I thought it was fixed by taking the advice of Simon Jones, about there being a problem with the breather on the fuel. the problem is back again ie cutting out then waiting 30 mins or there abouts and then its OK again for awile....

Thank you Simon. I have removed the petrol cap as you sugested and the Bongo is running well again, I have coverd 200 miles and no probs. I am now trying it on LPG. I have run for 20 miles no probs. Longer run needed yes. So it looks like a blocked breather do you or any other Bongonaught no how to ...

Hi Liz, I have fitted an engine temp sensor but it as made no difference, thanks anyway John. I think that the advice that Simon as given may help. Have it cheked Weds. Let you all know how I get on. FINGERS X.

Hi Mike, 'diagnostic' report. You must be jocking. Paid my £160 quid.Bill told me they would email me a report. I am still waiting. The other two garages one charged me £20 as they had to call an auto electiction. My Local garage charged me zilch as the they could not find the poblem. When the prob ...
