the choice of clip i think on a bongo maybe more important than on a racing application purely because it will live on a bongo for a long period of time,more cycles of temp, racing motors tend to be pulled apart and rebuilt,and things replaced more often,i cannot find anything better than a mazda cl...

deano, just a little warning note,when you get going with the actual bleed,watch you dont rob the turbo of its coolant,just go gentle. certainly looks like thats going to do the job. in your thread you mention the 13 litres capacity,dont get to hung up on that,ive bled about 20 different bongos,and ...

i to would go into the turbo coolant hose,can someone post a link/picture of what he should have,a pic of the cross docking stock and bleed pipe this may help him,sorry dont know how to do this.

yeh this happens sometimes, dont worry,tecky glitch with the server.it will be fixed soon.i am getting it to.

on a similar note i have just bought for the first time a gen mazda filter :shock: £16. but even superficially there are several differences,the filter (baffles) appear finer,less holes and the gen one has a divider plate inside,probably to seperate the flows. any one else noticed this these differe...

try lifting the back end really high, or better take off the large pipe heater feed to the heater circuit,the large one on the header tank and blow hard,that may prime the front heater enough for the water pump to shift the airlock when the engine is run on tick over. you say it has no bleed hose,is...

might be worth a check,the rocker cover breather may be blocked it should chuff!! or the air inlet side compromised in some way.if this is blocked the oil side could get overheated,causing excess heat to build up in the coolant side.

it will be ok to run with the fans on as your local to the bash.my only fear is if there is something going on that you dont know about,ie air locked,or a heater blockage.
