Ha I went to RTTS in Newquay in May was the only Bongo cruisin on Saturday got some finger pointin and wierd looks and lot of people wanted to know more about the Bongo good week-end

Yeah I saw that but there are two supplies to some radios both are fused

Have you tried it without the air filter yet as per previous post?

Originally was it a winter pack batt' ? or has it been retro fitted look for the switch on the dash right of the steering wheel

Try starting without the air filter if it's wet old and dirty that can also cause this prob DON't drive it tho' you could suck summat horrible into the engine

Is it with winter pack ie switch with a engine on it lower left of the stearing wheel? if it has and it's upward (pushed in) it's on and your reheating the engine and it will smoke, it will also drive very slowly and not go up the box

Yeah Spiky I agree it gives the Bongo a sense of having lived a life mine, came from The Isle of Wight and I sent the previous owner I postcard from the Bongo saying having a nice time on the mainland etc and being looked after hope she has a sense of humor
