Bongoing again.

We're back in action. \:D/ She is a '97' 2WD Auto with a face lift front end, her rear looks old style. Photos to follow. Already re-fitted the BMW clock, digital temp gauge, white dials, coolant, and mason alarms from the old one. Done a coolant change. Just needs a oil and fuel filter change etc, ...

Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 2013

 Talking of washing machine drums....Are you allowed camp fires? Can not see any info on their web site. I should be with Bongo at the begining of May, once I get my redundancy money. It's a P reg (new shape front) 2wd auto, so a wee bit different than my last. Still have the old one on the dri...

BOOKED!! \:D/ and soon to be back in Bongo ownership. [-o< I see there is free fishing available on site. It might be a bit early for good Trout fishing but I do fancy taking some Fly fishing tackle, and having a cast. :-k Might be able to give a little lesson on Fly fishing if anyone's interested.

Re: Bongoless

Sorry, katie I've not been on here recently. I've been very busy stuck on my own at work, and this is during a retirement sale!! So as you can guess, my circumstances will be changing soon. :( I do have a interview this Saturday, but it's just for a part time job. Might then go self employed, for th...

Re: Bongoless

It's just a bit out of my price range. :( I'm looking for a Tin Top, 4WD would be ideal, Manual if poss, but I'm sure I would get use to an auto. Towbar would be great, not worried about alloys as I have two sets already, (winter and summer) infact it would be better if had steel wheels so I could s...

Re: Bongoless

Thanks guys. I'll PM Stuc, and see what the craic is. I did not get an estimate. The guy I put the Bongo to, is an independent, who is kept very busy, and has a great reputation, I've used him for jobs I can not do on cars for the last 17 or so years, so if he says it's not worth it I believe him. C...

Re: Bongoless

Our poorly "off the road" Bongo has 228k km's on it. We bought it 6 years ago with 75k km's on it. We did not drive the Bongo as much this last year, as we have a wee car as a run around. So I'm not too worried about the mileage of the replacement. Just the eight seats with leg room and lu...

Aye, you've not had much luck when it comes to Red Squirrel meets. :(
