Re: MOT all clear

Glad to hear your Bongo passed the MOT
Mine recently did too - though it did need a bit of work (exhaust + few other bits - nothing too major, thankfully)

Re: Figure 8 awning mounts

I have a set of stop ends which as it suggests stops the awning moving in the Fig 8 gutter, work very well, very useful when it is windy. 7 squids and free post or £6.65 with code! https://www.olproshop.com/collections/campervan-awnings/products/6mm-awning-end-stops Or use a length of kador strip l...

Re: Figure 8 awning mounts

Last weekend, I used the Kador strip in between my van & my awning I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to detach the van from the awning - so I could drive away I left the set of fig 8 strips on the rain gutter, and it didn't detach while driving around :D I'd definitely recommend usin...

Re: Drive away awning

Wow. This is such a kind offer! A friend of mine has just bought herself a new awning, and it's a shame I didn't spot this sooner As myself & my friend are both located in South Wales.... I'll ask another pal if they need it too In the meantime... good luck with your garage clear-out :D Wish I c...

Re: New member

Hi Simon, I'm a fairly new member too. Having bought my Bongo around 9 or 10 months ago.... it took me too long to join! However, I did eventually join - and so glad I did :D That really is very very low mileage for a Bongo, and that's amazing. Don't know anything about that system - so can't help y...

Re: A and S Motor Repairs in Caerphilly

Just had them do a vehicle check on a Bongo I've just purchased. Found them to be professional, provided a written report without being asked, honest, billed me for the work on a pre advised hourly rate and knowledge of Bongo issues was first class. They were not looking for work! I will be using t...

Re: best awning for bongo's

Some good suggestions here. Again, not wanting to divert attention from BF marketplace, but I've seen a few awnings on ebay, for which you can buy additional interior dividers or sleeping compartments... Or perhaps you could place a "wanted ad" on here? - Might be a good idea..... Anyhow, ...
