Re: Overheating??

Calm down, 🤡🤡 you said in a pm that the temp gauge sensor was not in exactly the same position as recommended....that could make a distance......I remember one guy who put it on a exhaust bolt and wondered why his alarm kept going off. 20 mins will not get your stat open unless you are flogging it u...

Re: Overheating??

As above....if they are changing the coolant make sure they also flush back by disconnecting one of the rear heater hoses, back flush the rear heater and back flush the main rad. It will take 30 mins longer to do a proper job but money well spent.....refill with 30% blue antifreeze. If you use Red i...

Re: Overheating??

Sounds as though you have a lack of performance....the 2.5 diesel has plenty of performance for most . Could be something as simple as a vac pipe split or work up from there.....defo doesn’t sound right......you CANNOT compare the running temp with. V6. Totally different....V6 will run cooler.

Re: Coolant alarm

10 secs is about 8 secs tooooooo loooooong. Can be caused by the coolant level being a little bit low or weak antifreeze ( you need 30%)

Re: Coolant alarm

If your leisure battery tray is collecting coolant ( do a taste test to confirm it’s coolant ) and if it’s coming from the tank overflow. First check the tank is not overfilled.....if you can’t see the level dip a dry stick vertically into the tank and it should show about 2 cms wet....anymore is ov...

Re: Coolant / heating

It can take 40/50 mins of quite aggressive revving to get the bottom hose to go hot (it does that when the stat finally opens)
