Re: New Shape Front Fog Light Installation HELP

Foglamps should be wired to come on when you use your dipped headlights - Spotlamps should be wired to come on with the mainbeam. Wire the foglamps through a relay and a switch - There was a thread many moons ago about wiring foglamps up with a diagram showing how to wire the relay. Some one will ho...

Re: V6 Bongo with LPG conversion will NOT start

Hi, If the only the crankshaft oil seal and timing belt have been disturbed - the crankshaft pulley must have been removed - has the pulley been put back on in the wrong position and the timing been put out - I take it the engine is turning over but not catching - or has a sensor been disconnected a...

Re: speedo chip removal

Re: Oil change and copper washer

If you need to get a replacement washer the one fitted to a Ford Ranger is the same - any Ford dealer should be able to get you one - I fitted one as my van didn`t have a washer fitted when I bought it.

Re: Coolant loss - garage at a loss !

Might be worth giving someone like Wheel Quick a ring and seeing if they can give you any additional ideas of where to look - I was cursed with a top hose that had a slight weep - no water trail - only found it when I parked it on steep slope and the water dripped off the under tray - hose only had ...

Re: Best places to use a trolley jack

If you are jacking up one corner at a time then the correct way to jack the van up is using the suspension mounts where they are attached to the underside of the floor - DON`T use the sills as they are not load bearing and will deform as you jack the van up and damage the sides of the van - Some num...

Re: probably a silly question about ford freda stereos

Hi, They come in both single and double din - just depends on what the previous owner in Japan had fitted. Mine had a double din unit fitted as the bar in the fascia had been removed. Hope this helps. :)
