As the title says - just about to get some ERG blanking plates and just wonder about the pros and cons - if any - of when they are fitted - not having any problems at the moment or in the last 5+ years so not in a rush to fit them. :)

A leak but not where you would expect it

Finally stumbled across a very small leak that has been mystifiying me for a while #-o - over the past 12 months I have had to top up my coolant by about 200 ml  I`m sad I know - I keep a small 500 ml bottle in the van with coolant in so if ever i have to top the system up I know how much I ha...

Re: how hard to diy

If you are going to do the glowplugs - NGK are the ones to go for - make sure you put some Copaslip or something like it on the threads to stop them seizing in the head - I found out the hard way after using cheap plugs - one welded itself in the hole and snapped halfway down the thread and rendered...

Re: Exhausts -- Petrol 2.0 litre

If you went to Kwikfit you would end up getting the new exhaust section and......................in their opinion you would also need new 4 new tyres, brake pads, shock absorbers and anything else they could think of. Cynical - who, me. :)

Just wondering.

As the title says - just wondering - I`ve been two additional reversing lights hard wired into the factory reversing lights - but now it has come time to replace them as age and condensation has caught up with them - the question is if I were to replace them with one slimline 55watt H3 spotlight cou...
