Re: Moonfleet conversion air con
Ours was converted by the same people but also hasn’t worked since we bought it. As ours is a full side conversion the controls are behind the fridge and I didn’t bother taking everything apart to access them. Since then the rear heater matrix leaked and has been isolated out of the system. Anyway t...

Ours is an F35 pro 2.70 metre I believe. As far as I can see the brackets which Geoff has used are the same as he ones I used.

Re: Rust
I think they look better, the Sprinter ones don’t seem to have the correct curve and as you say they are a lot less faffing about. I see they have their own front cross member in thicker gauge steel. Good to see these old vehicles ‘saved’ for a few more years.

Re: Rust
More than likely one of many voids that are now opening up after all these years. Which rear arch replacements have you gone for, sprinter or the custom ones from Bongo Spares?

Re: Rust
As it’s behind the bumper and under arch does it need to be exact? The bit with the plastic bumper support is usually suspect as well. How’s the rear cross member?

Re: Stolen Bongo, Glasgow
Sorry to hear your Bongo has been stolen. Is it just me or does there seem to be quite a number of Bongo’s stolen from the Glasgow area? There was mention of one being stolen on Facebook a few weeks ago as well. Hopefully you get reunited with yours.

The MOT doesn’t cover the temp gauge. They check warning lights go on and off as appropriate.

Can’t help with intercoms but your situation sounds ideal to ignore the comments from the back seat drivers.

Re: How to communicate mileage when selling?
When we bought ours the dealer had listed what was on the clock as miles. I was delighted driving home to note it was KMs and it had done less miles than stated. Edit: Just noticed I joined the forum nearly five years ago. In that time our Bongo has been my daily runner and been virtually trouble fr...

Re: Main and Leisure battery monitor
Thanks. I’m now thinking two pole momentary switch to avoid the possibility of the switch being left on. That way both batteries would be isolated and the voltmeter only work whist pressing switch. https://sinolec.co.uk/en/double-pole-rocker-switches/296-rocker-switch-momentary-dpdt.html?utm_source=...

Main and Leisure battery monitor
I was considering wiring in a dual meter similar to this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alamor-Digital-Voltmeter-Voltage-Panel-Yellow/dp/B078GL4GQG . I’d like it to be switchable (on / off). If I add a switch to the common negative(s) would that prevent unwanted battery drain from it running 24/7? As I un...
