Re: Bongo birthday
So great hearing the experiences of your families in the War. Very moving. I never understand how what we are experiencing can be compared to what was suffered during the war. Our parents and grandparents went through six years of not knowing what would happen next. My Mum lived a couple of streets ...

Re: Nice Little Game
I have the “Pass the Pigs” game. Great fun, especially when they land “making bacon”.
I usually have it in the Bongo, so we’ll have to have a “pigs” session at a campsite somewhere in the future when the world is back to normal.

Re: Flat battery
Bongy started fine this morning after yesterday’s charge for about 3 hours.
It’s having it’s MOT Friday so can get it checked then.
Thanks to you both for your replies.
Always so reassuring to know that you are all out there.

Nothing left on to my knowledge.

Re: Flat battery
It’s on charge as I speak.
Myself and my son fitted it,and,as said,I have driven it a couple of times since with no problems.
Same age as leisure battery so maybe just need a new one.
Will charge it and see what happens.

Flat battery
I fitted a new leisure battery weekend before last, same make and model as previous one, been on a couple of short trips since and all fine.
Just got in bongy and main battery as flat as a pancake. Is this just a coincidence or could the new battery be causing the problem?

Re: Ferry booking
I have now booked my Ferry crossing, used Camping and Caravanning Club as they offer a discount for members. My advice if going via them is to research what the cost would be with the carrier first. The Club initially overcharged me by £80+,I did query the charge and was told the Bongo comes into a l...

Ferry booking
I think I have read on here before that on ferries to France the Bongo is classed as a car. On speaking to The Camping and Caravanning Club, they are telling me that if the Bongo is registered as, a Camper van on the log book it has to be booked as such on the Ferry, therefore costing more. Has anyon...
