Re: Won't start
Well just charged battery again. Couldn't get diesel cut off valve out only managed to get plastic cap off and test voltage. Thought I would clean banjo filter instead but that looked OK . Cleaned it anyhow. Sprayed electrics in area with gt40 and it now starts. Was it the banjo filter? Or I am star...

Re: Won't start

Re: Won't start
think i would go with simon on this, check the voltage at the fuel shut off valve on the top of the pump, then unscrew it and test it, and check the sealing washer is still on the end as they do perish, (bit like a tap washer at home). this is the part below, apparently it is the same as a transit ...

Re: Won't start
It could the the diesel stop valve on the injector pump although they more commonly seem to fail in the open position so the engine won't switch off. Plenty of fuel in the tank, not got a dodgy fuel gauge earth? Fuel ok filled up a couple of days ago. Was thinking it could be a blockage but it was ...

Re: Won't start
Ok just charged battery reconnected and it started straight away, not lumpy running or anything running smooth as normal. Turned off then it would not start again even though engine was turning over quickly. Battery flat again now so will try again. Glow plugs getting power although only showing 10....

Re: leisure battery..
We have one of the enduraline battery's from Tanya . Been on for a couple of years now and still good. We do have a solar panel on dash of bongo which works very well for topping up and keeping fridge going. Before the enduraline we had an elecsol battery which I think was a lot better battery would...

Re: Flushing heater matrix and frosty nights
Not sure why you want to leave empty. Be aware plastic pipes in and out of matrix if they are original do get very brittle with age. We have replaced both front and rear heater matrix alter both failing. Luckily front whist stationary at a petrol station a few hundred meters from our local garage an...

We have waeco cf35 and can highly recommend, runs off leisure battery had it for about 7yr now. Runs for about two to thee days on leisure battery when not moving and charging although we now have a large solar panel on dashboard and it will run for 5 days plus in summer.

Re: fuel cleaners and additives info
We have been using millers for the past year and I think it does make a difference. Engine does feel to run smoother and quieter. Not sure on economy have not checked that recently. We are 4wd diesel and always averaged around 24 mpg.

We lost Sophie on Friday night both gutted not sure what to do. How can we love dogs so much! Bongo days were brilliant with our little dog, she loved to sleep in bongo right up to the end.
