The front one sheared on mine. I think I went about 4 months before getting it fixed. Worth the extra expense to get all 8 studs/nuts & the gasket changed. Expect to pay about £28 for gasket & about £16 for studs/nuts. Labour is probably a couple of hours, depending on how well the rest come...

I agree with Dandy - I am planning to use the speedo sensor feed, just before the km-mph convertor. Feeds from the coil are only used for rev counters & therefore are engine speed, not road speed. Most Bongos are diesel, so no coil anyway.

I'm part way thru fitting a unit from Waeco & have one issue to solve. The actuator needs to be connected to the vacuum system & I have yet to confirm exactly which pipe to cut! It looks like there is a pump which does the power steering & I beleive the same unit feeds the brake servo. H...
