Re: Base seconds

Bought ours in France (due to inclement weather and soggy teenagers). No internet, so no clue how to pack it away......cue all four of us not so subtly or casually spying on other campers over their hedges.

A whole range on here - I've heard good things about the Kampa one, (but you'd want to at that price) - you'd need to be able to fit it in too.

Re: Heated Shower

https://www.decathlon.co.uk/portable-shower-8-l-id_8333161.html Never tried one but it looks pretty cool! I have a solar shower (black bag thingy) - if it's sunny you lay it flat for the day and it heats up, if it's dull you can put warm water in it - flow pretty rubbish, but it's ok for a freshen u...

Re: Base seconds

Love ours - got rid of our awning (couldn't be bothered with it). It does take up quite a bit of room when travelling (a huge circle), but it pops up in a second and we find it easier and quicker to put away then a small pop-up. The instructions are a youtube video, so you could watch that before bu...

Re: turning seats

It's true that in the uk rear facing seats don't need belts, however my insurer (CC&C) insure 'the number of seat-belted seats in the vehicle'. Also, in Europe all seats need seat belts. Mine have lap belts fitted - sorry I didn't do them myself (got a bongo mechanic to do it while he was revers...

Re: The pottery throwdown

Been loving this show - living in rural England and having teenage children it strikes a chord - absolutely loved the scarecrow competition!

Re: Which oil

Thanks everyone. It's a bit tricky to get to my mechanic when I'm at work when he's open - and I use my bongo to get into work, so not driving it is an issue (public transport doesn't really exist round here). I'll get some as suggested for the time being - it's due a service pretty soon anyway. Tha...
