we had the 45s on my bongo and yes we just ignored there markings and fitted where we could .

This sounds the same as our bongo we give up in the end and let her go just couldn't spend any more time or money .

we had the side conversion with 6 seats one been turn around to face the rear the 3point where replaced with lap blets think there where taken of the front seat belt anchor points. there another room to get in and out ok . if you do a rear conversion then behind it two small box like in this onehttp...
