Re: Leisure battery hibernation
That's sort of what I meant (sorry I wasn't very clear): how long would it take for it to run flat?

Re: Leisure battery hibernation
How long is it safe to leave the leisure battery connected? We might only use our Bongo once a month or so in winter. Does the same apply for the starter battery?

Re: A wet weekend in the woods...
Fabulous fungi! I'd love to go on one of those Fungus Forays where an expert tells you which ones are good to eat and you cook them up afterwards... could do that in the Bongo!

Re: Is your Bongo ready for winter ?
On the subject of winter protection, mine will be outside 24/7 as it won't fit in the garage. Does anyone use the Vito van cover that's on sale in the club shop? How good is it and are there any disadvantages eg condensation?

Bongo girlie road trip
My sister wants me to take her on a girlie road trip in my Bongo, and I'm searching for inspiration... we'd like a campsite with good facilities as she's definitely a 'glamper' not a camper! Ideally we'd like somewhere under cover to go for the day if the weather is wet/cold, but nothing too a...

Re: Beeping!!!
I found a small button type thing on top of the connector and when pressed it came apart quite easily. Hope this helps. I found that too, but it's tight up against another connector above it, and I can't get anything onto the button/catch to press it down. Think I'll have to wait till my bro-in-law...

Re: Beeping!!!
Grr, defeated by the beeps! Had a go at silencing mine, found the connector but can't get it apart! Took three screws out of the cowl but it wouldn't move much and I just can't get my fingers or even a pair of pliers in far enough to get a good grip. Am I missing something?

First long trip in the Bongo
I've had Boris Bongo for nearly 2 months now, and we've just returned from our first long (6 day) trip away, to Scotland via the Lakes. I thought I'd share a few photos and campsite recommendations with you all. On Weds 28th June we headed for Wasdale and stayed for 2 nights at the Church Stile camp...
