Re: Small coolant loss, is this normal?
I've found it! :D My first ever look under the passenger seat  The bleed hose was rubbing on a sharp bit of a clip that holds a wiring loom to the inside of the body and had made a hole. Watched the video to identify the hose and for now we've cut it down below the hole and re-sealed it with t...

Re: Small coolant loss, is this normal?
Well, I've definitely got a leak :( . Came back from a week away (Bongo on the drive all week) to find a small damp patch under the passenger side, just below where the pillar between the front and sliding doors is. The fluid is definitely coolant as I've collected some in a bowl. Had to top it up t...

Re: Small coolant loss, is this normal?

Small coolant loss, is this normal?
We've just had our Bongo a year now, and over the past couple of months the coolant alarm has 'muttered' a bit just at the start of a journey, when cornering. I had assumed this was due to the coolant being cold and/or the level changing as I drove round corners as the level looked fine on the flat ...

Re: Lake District
We stayed here last August http://www.churchstile.com/homepage.htm and recommend it, there are 2 nice pubs in the village (walking distance) and you can walk to the shore of Wastwater as well.

Re: Inside rear light help
I had the same problem and it was a corroded fuse, might be worth checking.

Re: Temp Gauge Fluctuating
I had a similar problem when I first got my Bongo, although the needle was dropping (down to cold/9 o'clock) rather than rising up to 3 o'clock - it was the connector between the thermostat and the gauge that was loose - once replaced it has been fine. Sorry I'm not in the slightest bit mechanically...

Re: Electric blinds sluggish in cold
have this problem with my o/s master switch. It can take repeated pressing to get blinds to operate, then they settle. I think the switch is probably a little tired (perhaps age and infrequent use have allowed oxide to get on the contacts?). Try a clean (maybe a squirt of lectrical contact cleaner ...

Re: Electric blinds sluggish in cold
Maybe the sliders down the sides could do with a little greasing/oiling, graphite might be better ? Are they on the L/B that might be a little lower in voltage given the temperature as well. I'll try greasing them but as I say they are fine when it's not as cold as at present which is why I thought...

Electric blinds sluggish in cold
Has anyone else noticed their electric blinds seem reluctant to move in the cold weather? Mine take a few pushes of the switches to get them to operate, and I wondered if the motors were freezing up? They're fine when it's not so cold.
