Re: Roof bars

That's correct. Bash prices are in your info pack. But you missed the official deadline for advanced orders. I am taking the stuff down to Stourport tomorrow (Sunday) morning. But I have room for 1 more set of roofbars; is it the plain black steel ones you wanted?

Auto Gear Box: Roll Back

With the gears in D (drive), and idling at trafiic lights facing uphill, I don't need to have my foot on the brake as the Bongo will not roll backwards. But on my previous van, it would roll very slowly backwards. I didn't think anything of it at the time, I just thought it was something to do with ...

Re: Volunteer Required (Westbury, Wilts)

It is anticipated that we will keep a small stock at the Bongo Shop (and at AVA) which can be ordered by trade and/or members direct.

Re: Volunteer Required (Westbury, Wilts)

The next stage of this project involves working with Andy at AVA, as he has dealt with wheel arches before. The Westbury firm are suggesting that there is no need to get Bongo wheel arches manufactured, instead it may be possible to use replacement panels from a Ford Transit (don't know which year)....

Re: Diesel vs Petrol - Either more or less prone to this overhea

We have only ever heard of 2 xV6 overheating problems. One where a radiator cap was left off. The other when a pipe was loosened during a cam belt change.

Re: Overheated and coolant spewed out of header tank

Tim, Look at the AVA website www.mazdabongo.com and put "hose" in the search box. I think the top picture is the one you need. If that's it, phone Vaughan on 01234-480808 and get it sent out next day delivery. I think they do a Staurday delivery. Tell them Ian said it was OK. By the way, e...

Re: Bash list

The reason we don't ask for forum names at the time of booking is

a) what's the forum?; and
b) that's an unusual name. would you mind spelling that for me?

I'd estimate that 75% of attenders at the Bash don't use the forum.
