Re: sediment/charge light again!!
Up date ALL!! Bongo under load(lights/A.C etc on) when sediment light OFF is 13.5 Volts ...
i managed to catch the voltage when the sediment light and charge light are on... = 12.6 Volts...
Does this indicate that the alternator is goosed????

Re: Rough start up/smoke.
I think you guys are definatly right..Keeping it simple... i changed the glow plugs for the new NGK plugs...Mine were the 100mm ones...so fitted the 81mm or whatever they are in.. Just needed to take off the glow plug rail and make a WAVE type shape to avoid the injector tubes, no spacers needed.. S...

Adjusting TPS/ gear change!!!
HI all!! I was just wondering if the Bongos have electronic TPS or can be adjusted manually? i have 2 bongos. A 1995 and a 1996 The 1995 seems to change up gears sooner than the 1996 bongo that i have... these 2 bongos are my 3rd and 4th bongos so you get to feel the general change up in gear...

Re: Rough start up/smoke.
Is it easier to remove the full gearstick/engine(saddle) cover area to replace the rocker cover gasket or easy enough
to replace without removing them? What are the correct torque settings/arrangement? seat and then criss cross pattern to specified torque?
No gasket goo Required???
