Re: gutter rail on Bongo AFT shallow or normal
If its shallow, which I suspect it will be, figure of 8 works great. I bought my from a caravan supplies shop as they sell it in long lengths rather than 3 short strips. Makes it a little easier when threading the awning into the rail.

Hi Bob.
We do intend to pop along, the Northern meets won't seem so challenging in the new van. The NC500 is on our to do list.

Have you considered a self inflating mattress. I have one and it works great and stores away well.

Re: Split charge relay
Hello extrahammy Geoff is the main guru on electrics, but I had a similar problem with my split charge relay, for months I had my 40w solar panel charging the leisure battery, but during the cold spell relocated it to the starter battery with the view that it would trigger the relay and charge the l...

Re: Webasto oil-heated water
Hi
I am not sure if you have the same water heating system with the webasto heater, but their are some good youtube videos on these heaters as well as the Chinese imitation one, one video in particular describes using a water heater with the heater.

Re: units above side conversion
Hello I used the high level hand grips but avoided drilling any holes by using a 30mm × 1000mm strip of 90 decree aluminium . This I placed between the roof of the van and the floor of the aft. With my cupboards fixed by the hand grips it cannot move forward so the purpose of the bar is just to stop...

Re: Hello & Thanks
Hi I once spoke to a car salesman as to how they kept the cars so shiny and he informed me they use furniture polish. I have been using it since on all my cars, and have never experienced any paint issues. It's goes on super fast, leaves a great shine and the water repellency is excellent. I have in...
