Tackeroo 8 - Cannock Chase 7th-8th May 2016
Hi folks
Looking at organising Tackeroo 8, normally 3rd week or so in April. Just checked the forestry website and looks as if it's closed:
http://www.forestry.gov.uk/tackeroo
Any ideas?

Re: Hibernating Bongo
Bongos are best driven and regularly as well, I used to store mine but it's not worth it. Rust, coolant leaks etc can all happen whilst its forgotten. We didn't use the AFT last year and the motors seized. I cycle commute via the train station so I make a habit of using the bongo at least twice a week

You can access it via the rearmost offside passenger storage gubbins above the wheel arch. It's just accessible once the plastic tray is removed. Hope it is the module but it may well be seized motors

Re: Cracked Roof
Did the hops refer to hopping on the roof or in the beer consumed!
The roof is very heavy so you'll need a hoist/ gantry to do it or some sort of frame. I've read post on here about it. Might be worth a chat with a boat repairer who does fibreglass

...and congrats on surviving a journey by Cross Country trains! It's a shambles - no comparison with Virgin Trains. The train from Plymouth to Cheltenham continued to Aberdeen, it had 5 coaches and by Exeter the train was full. The one from Cheltenham to Manchester started in Paignton and was 4 coa...
