Re: Sold a rotten Bongo for £4,500 - please help.
I agree with Ade, Northern Bongolow. Based on the facebook photos it is repairable. If you can get it to Stoke on Trent then Ian Taylor will fix it. You may even be able to get some of the more important work done first and defer the rest. £4.5k is a lot to pay but it's peak season and the prices go...

Re: 85kg nose weight and trials bike
Oh how i would love a go a gt250, lovely styling and a 2 stroke twin, what's not to like? That Cota is really good, it's not my normal style preferance, but it looks like it is designed for what it's meant to do, as opposed to so many trail bikes you see these days! It was GT250M Ram air, loads of ...

A mate had the 100 and rode it into an unlit pile of sand in South Norwood
Yours looks in great condition- has it been restored?

Re: 85kg nose weight and trials bike
100% trailer would be the best way, the Bongo has a rather big behind as it is and with a 70-75kg noseweight we've been known to hit the bump stops once or twice. Thanks, I sold a large luggage trailer recently. Hated towing to be honest, so will look out for a lightweight bike trailer. Lots of cho...

Re: Central locking odd behaviour
Apologies meant cut out and replaced all damaged wires, I tested for continuity but not for resistance - All wires were tested though. I did that work because the central locking had packed up and it worked fine once I repaired the cables. Clearly there's another one on the way out. I'm upgrading th...

Cheers Geoff
That'd explain why the delay is less with the engine running and warmer sunnier days when the solar panel is charging
I've just rewired the loom though
