Hi Ady That's what I was thinking...vacuum, but I can't see any damaged pipe, and I've replaced most. Vac pump diaphragm...Is there one in the actual pump?....the only exploded diagram I could find just shows slinging vanes ???....Can the diaphragm be bought, or is it a new / second hand pump? Think...

Hi Bongolia Yes....I remember those names...not all,but I have to look them up sometimes...I copied that one (flitch plates) from an "Automotive Dictionary", but there are a fair few car dictionaries and I can't find that one again. Sadly, nobody uses the correct terminology these days, as...

Re: Glass Fibre High Top

Hi I've had a reply via New Dawn from Drivelodge, and as they have a referral, they can supply. They obviously have agreement to only supply to their dealers, which is very fair...so I'll thank them both today / tomorrow. Next step is to find out how to get permission to convert over here. I can't j...

Re: Glass Fibre High Top

Hi Ian
Well...That's that....they only supply to their fitters ...shame, really, as there are some pretty good-class fitters here...The local VW place has the cleanest, well-equipped workshop I've seen anywhere!...and there are new places springing up everywhere...

Re: Glass Fibre High Top

Hi Ian...
I've just written to them...I was wondering whether anyone had fitted one?....I remember Hayden fitted one as a removable item, but I wonder how they're fitted...I could get a local team to "do the dirty", and paint it myself
Cheers
