Re: Where to look first
The fuse in the split charge relay won't make any difference initially because that is only used when your engine's running and you are charging the battery. I would guess that your leisure battery has gone flat for some reason (maybe something to do with the split charge relay or fuses). Do you hav...

Re: Clock and cubby from 626?
Yes, it works. We've got one in ours and the wiring wasn't difficult to work out. I think it just pulls out or it's easier if you can push it out from the back.

Re: Booking a Band
"Come Up and See Me" are a great covers band and they do the whole mix of old and new, pop, rock etc, you name it they can do it. They are also local to Stourport so that may be an advantage. I don't know how much they charge. Have a look here http://www.comeupandseeme.co.uk/

Re: daylight running lights
Just a quick one on DRLs and safety. The research I read a while back showed that lights on motorcycles made you more likely to be seen but the riders distance would be estimated as being further away. This means you now have a choice of being hit either because "I didn't see you mate" or...

Re: daylight running lights
Assuming that a proportion of people do look then it goes without saying that some will avoid, not hit or stop when they see your lights/ hi viz clothing. Therefore if it is one of this proportion, no matter how small, that doesn't end up killing me, a few pounds spent will be well worth the invest...

Re: daylight running lights
The whole thing about being more visible is generally misunderstood. I was told a story by a motorcycle paramedic of an occasion when a car knocked him off his bike and as he dismounted his flourescent, reflective yellow bike in his flourescent, reflective yellow suit (trousers and jacket) the drive...

Re: daylight running lights
I really don't know why anyone would want to retrofit DRLs. It's bad enough that new cars come with them but at least on ours we can switch them off by going through the car's menu system. The fact they are fitted is due to a misguided law introduced by the European Parliament and it's another one t...

Re: Cleaning your water tanks
I did the training a few years ago and the only place from memory you could give it to your self would be a very old air con system using water for the cooling medium ( very rare) or possibly a shower. I don't know of any domestic or camper van cases Not quite, it's not so much an air con system, i...

And is harmless unless breathed into your lungs via microscopic droplets known as aerosols. Unless you use your water storage tank to supply a shower it's not a risk that you need to consider. There is alot of hysteria around legionella but there are only a handful of cases and they are all related ...

Re: Cleaning your water tanks
Milton is good enough for this job and you can get it in your local supermarket. Due to the fact that the tanks are usually black and hidden away inside cupboards they are in complete darkness and therefore biological growth is highly unlikely. Once a year with Milton at the start of the season is m...

Hi Try This: Hope they're of use Cheers Helen What makes you think that they are in the right place? I've never managed to find anything that states where to put them on the Bongo and every Bongo I look at with them on they are in a different position. The instructions with mine said the baseline m...

A cable tie or a piece of wire wrapped around it usually does the trick.
