Re: SHOCKS?
FYI New rear shocks were sourced from a Mazda dealer at around £66 each. New fronts are around £85 each from Mazda but had a very long lead time for delivery. Sourced from Ebay @ £169 for the pair. Handling has improved tremendously. Used to drop off speed bumps with a couple of rebounds but no more...

Re: A leak but not where you would expect it
Sounds very similar to a small leak I had recently, but at the other end of the hose. I noticed a very small split at the metal stub end of the hose. Tried to push the split onto the stub and cut off the damaged portion but this didn't work. Where the pipe sits on the metal a small lump of rust alwa...

Re: Disasters averted by laziness
No. Its protected by a sleeve of hose pipe. Had just developed a tiny hole at the end of the metal pipe.bigdaddycain wrote:Was the bleedhose chafing on the alternator Pete?

Disasters averted by laziness
Several weeks ago we (Northernbongolow Ady and me) removed my undertray to replace some coolant hoses and perform general maintenance. As I have been a) busy doing other things b) watching a great deal of oil soak its way into my once clean concrete back yard c) feeling lazy whenever I could have re...

Re: Daffy2 - Portmeirion - April 8th - Confirmed!
Having spent most of the week looking at the very empty space of a temporarily unconverted Bongo and debating 'shall I go or shall I cancel and stay home and do some of the thousands of jobs that need doing?' Last night I mysteriously stumbled upon a bit of spare motivation I didn't know I had and 2...

Re: Oil Soaked Belly Pan
I took mine off and jet washed it out. Didn't notice any increase in road noise. If anything I thing it may be a bit quieter. Only problem is I didn't anticipate how much more oil was going to come out after I stood it up dry. Anyone recommend a good product for cleaning the concrete in my yard :oop...
