Sounds like the air filter housing. If it is there are clips you can undo by hand to check if you need a new/clean filter.

Re: Leisure Battery Not Charging from Engine
That was the case with mine recently. The 15amp fuse near the LB was blown and the symptoms were as you describe.
Replaced the fuse and back to normal.

Re: V6 & coolant alarm. Do I need one??
Hi,
We've got a low coolant alarm on our V6. I thought it was best to be safe than sorry. I guess it's the same type of hoses on the V6, so just as prone to perishing and leaks or loose clips.

Re: WATER LEAKING!!!
There's a garage in Wallasey on the recommended list, if that's easier. I haven't used them myself though.

Re: Rear arches needed.
Having just spend the morning grinding a small rust spot, that turned out to be a large hole  , I can say I would be interested in some arches in the future. Will fill for now as the bank balance is low. I can see from mine, which was rust free 2 years ago, that there are more rust spots develo...

Re: Split charge relay
Hi,
I fitted the 100A relay with 50A fuses and made up leads from parts - it's a hassle but it worked for me.
From what I can see this is the right one:

the company supply the parts as well I think.
