Surely, the control is set to 18 C, then you would expect the air coming out to be in that sort of region, rather than under 10C, or am I just being dim? :?

even though my fan resistor thingy is fine & it works at all 4 speeds, there is still only the mere hint of a breeze from the vents. Surely they can't all be like that?

The light will come on briefly when you start up - thats normal. Unless it stays on for a lot longer then I dont think you have much to worry about. I changed my fuel filter the other week - not a huge job, but messy unless you have the knack. The sensor is just a float which I guess goes up if ther...

AndrewJ, it says in the parts section: "Front Brake Pads (Full set)" for "?47.75". I would read that as meaning for front axle i.e. 2 for left, 2 for right. I may be wrong in that assumption, but if not then that's half the Mazda price. If you check out Bongobits.com, you can get...

If it has ABS there should be a yellow light that illuminates for a few seconds on the dashboard when you start up. I believe if there was an ABS fault it would be this, rather than the red light that would come one.

Rest of the West Roll Call

I know you're all a really shy bunch out there in Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset etc, so lets do what the Devon/Cornwall lot have done & have a roll call to see who/where you are. R93 PEL, Silver AutoFreeTop, live in Salisbury, only tend to take "Bongie" out at weekends, like travelling t...

Hello Keith! Yes, I know you tried it before, but thought it was worth another shot. By the way, you may recall you fitted 4 new Avon tyres when my van failed the MoT - what an improvement it made to the handling - doesn't feel like it will tip over at the slightest gust of wind. The exhaust manifol...

It might be the plastic tray that covers the sump. It is held on by a handful of M6 bolts. If one or two have worked loose, then the whole lot could be flapping around at speed. Either jack the vehicle up & use axle stands, then have a feel round underneath. Alternatively, ask a local garage if ...

Where is everyone?

Come on you folks from Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset & anywhere else "west"- this part of the forum is looking distinctly quiet - there must be something to chat about?

I've also noticed a damp greeny coloured patch where the pipe union is. The fluid seems to have eaten thru the foam rubber piece where the pipes go up thru the floor. Do the front & rear systems share the same fluid? Could I get the front system topped up independent of the rear, or should I get...
