To remove the rear panels: undo the bolt holding end of seat belt & just gradually work your way around the outside giving it a gentle pull. It is held by a series of clips that just un-pop. If you have flip up seats, they will need to be removed first.

I've fitted the Waeco MS50 cruise control & I find it works really well & only took less than half a day to fit - cost about ?100. It's a job for anyone who is competant with basic tools & electrics. I took a load of photos during the process so I can put together a factsheet when I get ...

It's to control a flap on the exhaust that helps to deflect warm exhaust gas somewhere(!) to help the engine warm up quicker. Haven't got one myself, but have seen reference to it on the forum. Try a search for "pre-heat" & you will find the answer.

I think there have been several messages about overfilled engines & gearboxes recently (try a search). The general opinion was that too much can be as bad as too little - it can cause excess pressure to build up. In a recent thread (within last 14 days) someone used a large syringe & tube to...

The info is in the Members section. If you're subscribed, then you will have access to it. If you've not, then it's well worth the cost (?10.50 I think) as you will be able to get this & lots of other useful factsheets that will probably save you more money than it costs to join.

I'd go with the sheared exhaust stud theory too - lots of posts on the forum for it. The sound is like when you blow thru a piece of grass cupped in your hands.

Does the light come on when you put key in the ignition or are you just seeing the icon on the dash which is probably standard on all models?

I think "Full Time 4wd" is to differentiate it from other types of vehicle that involved the driver having a seperate gear lever, or the other method of fiddling around with a mechanism in the wheel hub to engage the front diff. Other than a split front CV boot, I am very happy with my 4WD...

The turbo noise on mine is hardly noticable - it's more of a "whoosh" than the usual high pitched whistle that you normally get with a turbo.

Is the clicking coming from the switch or from under the bonnet? If it is from the front, then it sounds like a relay clicking, but I know mine did not have a relay fitted. I have a free horn going if that is of any use to you (just the cost of postage)

It's behind the side panel, behind the drivers seat, below where the rear aircon controls are. There is a recess on the edge of the floor in the same location as the step inside the sliding door on the other side. The covering panel just pops off if you give it a series of gentle pulls. Towards the ...

Colin, may I take the opportunity to out-pedant you?! You're getting your Fiamma's & Fiamm's all mixed up again! Honking your awning will draw attention for the wrong reason.
