It looks like a bracket off a mobility scooter. By pulling on a lever it causes a piston to move out of one of the holes. The tiller can then be moved backwards or forwards till the piston relocates in another hole. An adjustment locator for mobility scooter.
I claim my five pounds.

Well here I am at a favourite campsite Salies De Bearn.waiting till tomorrow when the local pool is opened. It is normally at 28° centigrade and so it is like swimming g in a hot bath. One unpleasant surprise this year was the cost of diesel. Same as the uk. Usually it is about 80% of uk price. Also...

Re: Best place for an inverter?
I noticed that there is a space under the front passenger seat, so not so far from the leisure battery.
I use my inverter to charge up the 24 v. Batteries on my wife's mobility scooter.

Re: Wanted please - tailgate curtains & curtain rail
My grey curtains became striped with the bleaching effect of the Sun. I tried dyeing them but that did not work, so, after buying new material to make new ones, I saw some fabric paint in woodland and tried that. It worked but I did not have enough so I returned to buy some more of the aerosol but t...

Hi, your request for views struck quite a chord. I want down that thought process about 5 years ago when my wife started to need a mobility scooter. I even went as far as visiting the maker of the bak rak in Austrey. No joy there unfortunately. Have you considered the problem from a different point ...

Re: Blown cylinder head gasket-sell or fix? Please help!
Subject to the usual "not my fault" if it goes pear shaped I will just repeat what Ian Taylor said to me three years back when I was in the same boat as you "If you are sure the head gasket has gone then take it from me the cylinder head will need replacing. If it still runs drive it ...

Re: Electric pedal bikes
To charge wife's disability scooter batteries (24 volts) I use an inverter off a separate supply straight from the starter battery and plug in the charger to this. 4 hours driving to a destination usually puts enough energy in to fully charge them.
