Hi,
I've heard rumours of this being done, but no idea what is involved. 'Er in drawers used to have a leather trimmed Mk1, I used to find the seats got hard after 100 miles or so but i'm a skinny ars*d creature. Did like the headrest speakers though. Could be nice on swivel mounts.

Hi,
Glad you got a rescue pup, & settling well. Should keep you fit & active for a few years.

Hi, Thanks for the heads up, just watched one, very funny. Also worth looking out for is a series that went out on BBC4 in 2015/6 called Detectorists. Largely unadvertised, beautifully written & starring Mckenzie Crook. Full of gentle humour that leaves you wanting more. 2 series + Xmas special,...

Hi David, Any luck with your search yet? Have you considered a rescue dog? Just because a pup might be unwanted does not mean there is anything wrong with them and there always seem to be plenty available at this time of year. Our last "project" came from Battersea and she is a real treasu...

Hi, To my way of thinking, George is right, with car audio, as with much else in life you get what you pay for and I would always go for one of the reputable, well established makers when choosing what is a fairly complex bit of electromechanical equipment. I don't think there is much to chose betwe...

Bongoplod - You really should be ashamed of yourself! I may be an ex-pat, but I am still fully aware that the only true Food of the Gods is a slice of black pudding. I don't mean the commercial stuff, but the proper pud, with the lumps of fat in it as big as peas, that when lightly fried gave an aro...

Hi, There have been reports of some of the cheaper Chinese made "all in one" units having a high current draw (up to 1/2 amp) when switched "off". Perhaps somebody with more up to date knowledge could confirm or debunk this rumour? Also, do check the depth of the unit you are int...

Re: Bongo Dealer in Bristol - JCS LTD
Hi,
Going back into the dim recesses of my mind, the name sounds familiar but i'm not sure of the when, where or why. I would be wary of any dealer who advertises stock they don't have though.

Hi Bob,
"After 31 March we will both be retired, loads of time but no money. "
If the weather is decent you could always join us at Cheddar Boot Sale, but you have to get up VERY early!

Hi,
A very happy new year to everybody. I would hope that 2017 will be better than 2016, but as somebody quite well known once said "we live in interesting times"

Hi,
Just heard that Rick Parfitt has gone to that great gig in the sky. Rest in peace Rick, you might have been the butt of many a 3 chord joke, but many of us know that you were actually quite an accomplished axeman.

Hi, The engine has a "sweet spot" between between 2000 and 2500 rpm on a light throttle. You will know when you hit it, the noise level drops and if road conditions allow you to keep it there the fuel consumption will drop to an "almost economical" level. I did quite a bit of the...

Hi,
Money Claim Online is very easy and painless to use and not too costly. I've had to use it once and got a good result, plus I got the cost back. I can recommend it.

Hi, It would be well worthwhile contacting the groups on Facebook - there are people on there who have got caught who don't appear on this forum. I was one who walked away after looking at one of his rustbuckets, which somebody later bought on eBay but that would have been over 5 years ago. Hope the...
