Sorry we have missed all the Allithwaite meets this year as they have all unfortunately clashed with us being away of family dos. :( :(
We are going to Sherwood Forest and Silverdale in October so hope to catch up then.

Aires are great for one or two night stops. Most have a limit of 48 hours. You will need your own loo facilities at most although quite a few have toilets close by. The T3 brackets are fine. You may find that the gutter has to be bent a bit to make them fit properly. The main problem is that over time the the gutter can flex and crack the paint. Easy fix is to put a stainless bolt through the bottom of each bracket like this. http://i861.photobucket.com/albums/...

You may find that the fridge is wired to the Zig unit but to the incoming feed from the leisure battery, ie direct from the LB without going through the Zig. If this is the case then as you say the only way to turn the fridge off is with its own control. I fitted a separate switch in the fridge feed...

Check all the tubes and valves under the passenger seat around the turbo area.
There is also a pipe coming up from the front of the engine which feeds vacuuum to these various valves. If any of these are leaking or the valves have failed then it will cause a problem.
