Does it make any noise or attempt to move when you press the button?
As I said, before dismantling try pushing it forwards the wrong way.....

Try pulling the NS mirror forward (ie the wrong way) hopefully it'll trigger the motor back into synch & all will be ok, as Bob says, it should work with the OS mirror folding action. If that doesn't work, it may need surgery/replacement. The bottom part is just a cover, there aren't really 2 pa...

Some adjust mirror position electrically, but do not have the electric fold function.

If you are having to top up the coolant, get it sorted asap, it is a sealed, pressurised system & should not need topping up, if it does you have a leak, which means it's not runnning at the right pressure, which means it could cause serious issues as the coolant may be able to boil in "hot...

I take it you mean you can adjust the position of the mirrors ok, do yours not fold in electrically? It won't do any harm to fold them in manually either way.

What light warning switch are you talking about? Have you checked the coolant, steering fluid, engine oil, gearbox oil levels? Sounds like you may have at least a couple of issues, steering fluid leak possibly if the steering's a bit iffy & there's a bit of oil lurking about under there & a ...
