Hi and welcome
Unconverted is best for some
It's good to try it unconverted to see if you really do need a conversion
Loads make do with a kitchen box stored under a seat
Nice looking bongo and view

Re: Scavenger over ride
You can have your chassi galvanised But you have to strip it first We used to do the LANDROVER defenders chassis But they are easy to strip Then they get nicked with a galv chassi on So loads used to paint there new galv chassi black They now making them pre galvanised off the shelf ( not landrover ...

Re: Electric window issue
I really should read all the posts
Just spent a few mins rereading the first few posts
Trying to figure out who's touting for business
Then read to the bottom to find it's been deleted
Thought it was my reading and writing messing me about again

There are two motors
One each side
Can only be got at when roof is up ( or part way up)
Behind two black covers under roof
Towards the rear of roof
Are both working ?

Re: Alternator belts....too long?
Have you measured the new belts
I had some a couple of months back that said 13x1100 but we're actually lots shorter
Came fron auto jap spares
And was a wrongly labeled batch
