Re: Damp in Roof Conundrum

Following on...... The Bongo owner is/was concerned that the thick memory foam mattress may have "twisted" or "distorted" the roof/mechanism so it not fitting right and allowing water ingress..... To update on that..... the roof raises and lowers okay and the main runners are fin...

Damp in Roof Conundrum

I have a Bongo Owner who has asked for some help...... with dampness inside his AFT on the tent area. The owner is certain that the reason for this could be due to storing a thick memory foam mattress in the roof and the roof struggling to close when said mattress was up in the roof. Now.... I've ta...

Re: Redox

Redex is still used by some..... many of my customers do in their classic cars..... as well as octane booster in some cases...... I use it in my mower and petrol stoves.... yeah...I know.... 5ml (teaspoon full) in a gallon of Petrol.... keeps them clean...especially the stoves as the generat...

What I also do..... is change ALL the bulbs in there while the panel is out...rather than just the suspect one.... saves hooking it all out again in a week or so when the next weak bulb goes...

Re: Bongo Fury Neweletter - Diesel Vehicles- Politics

It seems that a lot of the fear in this comes from last years Low Emission strategy from the ConDem government..... with Michael Fallon's mucky mitts all over over then it's no wonder rumour is rife. Basically the UK govt are having a strategy (fake or not) in place to appease the EU, whether they a...

Re: Bongo Fury Neweletter - Diesel Vehicles- Politics

I'd be more excited by an affordable retrofitable regenerative braking system. 2 tons of Bongo wastes a lot of energy slowing down then speeding up again. Something connected to the propshaft ought to do it. And a compressor and bottle might be an interesting alternative to electric. Coming ...

Re: Fuel filter dented - can I still drive?

Hi all, Thanks all for your help with this. So got the filter wrench today and it promptly broke so resorted to the the screwdriver through the filter technique but there was no way this would've worked without removing the filter from the completer housing - something I would've never thought of d...

Re: Bongo Fury Neweletter - Diesel Vehicles- Politics

The other ironic thing is..... Dodgy Tim Yeo & Bullingdon Boris..... managed to get the cab drivers in London to buy new Cabs from Yeo's company....the big issue is...they are filthier than the old ones they were driving..... It isn't the EU that is just fiddling.... the ConDem Govt ministers ha...

Re: Bongo Fury Neweletter - Diesel Vehicles- Politics

The irony is..... France has a huge population of Diesel's and it's £1 a litre there.... are the EU going to hit French motorists....and German Motorists........I think not.... Methinks it's all Tory Bluster to scare the DM & Sun readers.... And then Mazda introduce the DIESEL Mazda 2 which pass...
