Re: Possible faulty central locking relays?

The signal from the drivers side is a changeover switch K2-01 below; 1997 Page_108 So you need to check that the +12v from the door switches from the Yellow/Red to the White/Black going into the module and back. It might be that only one of the two signals is getting thru the loom at the drivers doo...

Re: Coolant bubbles advice. Video

The air con only controls the flow of air over the heating matrices, it doesn't control the flow of coolant thru them at all, so I can't see that has anything to do with it, just chance I suspect!

Re: refilling evaporator with gas & coolant bleeding

I thought the 2l petrol didn't have a bleed tube as such, the tube already runs back to the degassing tank I seem to recall, so it may bleed itself but you won't be able to apply the video method anyway.

Re: glowplug timer

Its part of the ECU itself not a seperate module, the "timer" isn't a timer it measures the Rev's and temperature and controls the glowplugs as needed.
B2-04 is the relay itself controlled by the ECU (PCM box)

Re: HELP: Charge and Sediment light on, no charge to battery

Just check that your Headlamps come on first as the Image also powers the alternator, if this fuse fails (Headlamp blown ?) then no magnetic field within the alternator to generate anything!

Re: Fault with my manual heater control panel

The fuse only covers the fan itself so no other circuit should be involved. If you have the Ignition turned ON then the fuse is connected thru to the fan motor via the relay so if you have been playing about with the fan at any time with the ignition turned on then there is every chance it could blo...

Re: Bongo is humiliating us

Its not really an Expansion tank that holds excess coolant as in some vehicles ! The coolant does actually flow thru the de-gassing tank when the engine runs, its purpose is to remove any small amount of air that gets in, if the level falls too low then the air in the tank will be pushed down into t...

Re: buzzer

Sounds a non-standard addition, and it isn't the "normal" i.e. Haydn's - type of Low Coolant Alarm either! There have been some very basic Low Coolant Alarms marketed that are just a Buzzer fed by a transistor- sometimes with an LED, and use a couple of screw in probes on the tank. It soun...
